My 5.0.1, LMY7I. Any feedback would b greatly appreciated. thx guys! so about this...my phone s Beast on KitKat. then upgraded to 5.0.1, and suddenly apps went the [language removed] route as well LOL. Then came 5.1 (r-3), now it's basically [language removed] the bed. To get my music player to work, I'll hafta reboot. No clue why, as it just started happening yesterday evening. So how did my N5 go from a beast that was faster than N6's, to Now basically to acting like it did with 5.0.1. Hopefully the new OS, 5.1, will be released soon. Someone suggested I do a factory reset, but my PC id ancient garbage and will never install ADB or the N5 drivers. I've wiped cache partition n have the same results. Anyone know of an easier fix by chance?? Thanks again everyone!

Have you cleared your app cached data in Storage?
Also, have you tried Safe Mode? I don't know whether it's possible, but third-party apps causing no trouble under Kitkat may now be doing so under Lollipop.

You do not need a PC to do a factory reset you do it from recovery mode. You may want to backup your data and setting first, you do not need a PC for that either. Be sure that you have your cell phone synced with your Google account and anything else you need to backup you could save to Google Drive. Then after the factory reset, you setup your phone login to your Google account and your apps will reinstall.

Yep. Cleared app cache from storage, cleared cache partition and still getting camera crashes, play store not responding/crashing, but the google music player issue seems to have randomly gone away. Very weird. I know 5.1.1 is being released OTA soon, which is supposed to fix all the app crashes (especially the camera), so I'll just wait for that. Saving everything to Google Drive then saving it back to my phone doesn't sound like a ton of fun lol. I just don't get how my phone was flawless for 2wks with 5.1, then boom, it fell on its face somehow. No new apps, and it does the same in safe mode.
