I tried to test Find My Moble on my Verizon Note 9. I got a message in my Samsung account saying that it was unavailable for my wearable. I tried to find out where to set it up properly for my Note, but, couldn't find it in settings. The play store says it is installed but see where to configure it. I am totally confused. Would someone please help.

Check in Settings under Biometrics and Security

You can always use the search bar in phone settings when can't find things , it's a handy thing.

I of course tried that and I only found Google's find my phone. I would like to use Samsung Find My Moble. I found the app but the are that allows me to set it as the default app and/or configure is greyed out. I do find the search bar very handy. I use it frequently and come to Android Central when the search feature does not provide the info I need. Thanks for your help.

I don’t have a Verizon model so can’t say whether it’s disabled in their software or not. Confirming that you are logged into your Samsung account on your phone?

I do think I remember awhile back a post people were saying Verizon might of disabled this on their device.

I found this , maybe might be helpful
As mhunter6378 said need to be log into your Samsung account.

This looks correct!
Way to go, Mustang!

On my Verizon branded Note 9 I got to the screenshot, but going to MAIN PHONE SETTINGS > ACCOUNTS > ACCOUNTS > SAMSUNG ACCOUNT > SERVICES > FIND MY MOBILE.
Be advised the services are not in alphabetical order. FIND MY MOBILE was lower on my list. I had to scroll down some.
I did not log in and test it.

I logged in and that is were I get the following message " Your wearable is not configured for location service". I don't have a watch. I see my Note 9 listed on the right. I clicked on it wanting to change the configuration from Watch to Phone so my Note can be located if lost. The only thing allowed is for the phone to be locked. So I surmise that Verizion has disabled some of the capabilities of this app.

Maybe something in settings of the watch to turn on ?

Ok. I'm going in.
COVER ME!

I was able to select my Note 9, in hopes of changing the message on the main window, but no such luck.
I logged into Samsung account on laptop, hoping that maybe it needs to be done from a different device than the phone itself.
No joy. Same watch doesn't play message.

Yeah but OP wants the watch to configure with find my phone also ?
Or I misunderstood

Now IDK. Maybe I misunderstood, also. I thought he was trying to change to phone control from watch.
I found nothing in the Galaxy Wearable app.

ETA, I just read back. OP doesn't even have a watch. I think something is goofed up on Samsung's end, but I've not looked at this service before today.
I'm setup to use the Google version.
