Finding contact when making calls...probably dumb questions.

Hey Folks,

Left the Rezound a couple of weeks ago and made my way over to the GN. I really like this phone. ICS is amazing and I prefer it over the lagginess of Sense. I am having a couple of problems though.

When you make a phone calls on the Rezound you can type on the keypad and it will give you the option of numbers or show possible contacts to choose from. I am not seeing this option on the GN. Is there a way to enable it?

Also when I do a search for a contact when making a call it never finds them but if I go through the contacts app I do see them. What is going on?

Any help would be appreciated.

Sadly typing in a contacts name on the dialer is not part of ICS. It is a popular feature so lets hope they add it in an update.

For the issue when you search, while in the search field tap the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner and choose contacts to display and make sure you have all All contacts selected. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the response. Not a major issue. Glad to know i am not going crazy. Tried the all contacts setting but still no luck. Not sure what is going on.
