Finding My Recovery

I bought a rooted LGOG with a stock ROM, and I don't know how to tell what recovery I'm running. I also can't find a way to boot into recovery. I've held down power+volumes and the phone just starts up regularly. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Power down phone. Then volume up and power at the same time. Now you are on fastboot. Volume down twice then power. Now you are in recovery.
