hey guys
a bit of a stupid question i'm sure but, if i lose my phone with the finger print scanner active and someone does a hard reset, what does that mean.
It would be a bit stupid if they could start using it like normal because what would be the point in the finger print scanner in the first place
thanks for the help in advance :D

The phone should have factory reset protection (which is both a Google and Samsung feature). When a phone is reset before first removing the Google account, that's considered and unauthorized reset. When the phone finishes the reset and boots back up, it will ask for the Google account information from before the reset. So your data should be safe.

The point of the finger print scanner is to protect the data, not so much the phone.
