Finger Scan Ruining My Day | All Attempts to De-Activate Failed

[AC Question]

3 Things: (1) Screen unlock via Google does not work; (2) I do not know my Alternate Password thus I cannot de-activate Finger Scan; (3) Locking and Re-Setting Password via Android Manager does not work. In fact, this app does not even recognize my phone (same is true for app + access via the web).

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by "Screen unlock via Google does not work"? Do you mean that it won't recognize your Google credentials?

Does your finger scan actually work and you just want to deactivate it? Or are you locked out of your phone? I assume you have an S5, but let us know if it's a different model.

Do you recall ever setting an alternate password, and did you just forget it?
