Fingerprint feature for notification bar

Has anyone noti8fied their fingerprint gesture stop working for some reason for the notification bar? Again,not a big deal but I have to go back into settings and toggle it on, and off once.

It's been fine for me, for the almost 2 weeks I've had my S8+. Swiping the bar up and down is about all I've used the fp reader for -- the iris scanner is so good.

Most Of the time it's fine for me as well and it works perfectly. The two times I noticed it's that I noticed it stopped working have been when I was on speaker phone phone call. I don't know of this has anything to do with it but I had to reset it twice. Other than that, obviously the phone is perfect!
