fingerprint reader is poor ?

I just cannot get this to work consistently. Is it only me. 4 times out of 5 it fails and many times i need to enter the back up password. Really is not worth all the hassle and PIN seems way easier.

Did you check my s6 fingerprint tips thread? Once set up right, it is pretty good.

Tried everything. I've come to the conclusion that the fingerprint reader is too hit and (mostly) miss. It's not fit for purpose.

Strange. It has always worked flawlessly for me.

Have you tried setting up more than one fingerprint? When setting up a print do you move your finger around enough so it captures all of your print? Those are my suggestions.

Yes I tried using multiple fingerprints too for the same thumb. Maybe I have a strange thumb print that continually morphs
