Fingerprint reader issues???

I have added and deleted and added at least 12 times fingerprints on thumb and index finger. I have a spotless display, and clean fingers.

Fingerprint sensor on Goggle 7 only work about 80% of the time.

Is this something Goggle is going to fix on this really nice smart phone.

I don't seem to have that problem. Are you pressing firmly and leaving it there for a second? I sign into my work email with my thumb print and it just works even with my Pixel6. I found that a bit of patience does wonders for responsiveness.

Although I'm not happy with this reader. It does work a fair amount of the time. Maybe some updates will make it better. I miss the days of the hardware readers, those are spot on. Every time
