Fingerprint Reader not working well after update.

I received two updates on Saturday from Verizon and now my fingerprint reader does not work like it should. Before the updates the reader was awesome and worked instantly everytime. I am also have UI 3.1 if that makes any difference. Has anyone else noticed thus after the Verizon updates?

I have an unlocked note 20 ultra on Verizon, just got the OneUI 3.1 update last night and I have not noticed any FPS issues.

You know, after the most recent update on my S10, I am having that exact same issue. A pity, too, because up until then, my fingerprint reader worked well.

I did have to reset my fps after update though. I thought that was strange since never having to do that before. Working 100/100 now.

Maybe a reset of the fps will help.

My N20U Fingerprint Reader had been working lousy, so I gave up and went back to using PIN# Security about two months ago - when I read this, I configured two fingerprints just to see what it was like since the OneUI 3.1 Update? Works great now - GO FIGURE!!!

How do you reset the fps I have never had to do this. Thanks in advance.

Go to settings, security. Delete your current prints and register them again. I do 2 on each finger.

So I re-enrolled my fingerprints... And HOLY MACKEREL it's great again! Thank you both so much for the suggestion!

Kizzy and all, thanks! Was having horrendous FP issues on my Note 10+ after the update, and did as you suggested. Working like new now!!
