Fingerprint scanner issue

So I'm facing this wierd problem with the fingerprint scanner since yesterday now. Before I was able to use it to sign-in in some apps like the Bank of America app and another one called DayForce HCM (It's an app for my workplace). I still was able to use this feature 2 days ago actually. But all of a sudden yesterday both apps do no longer give me the option to login with my fingerprint. It only gives me the traditional password sign. I thought it was a fingerprint issue, but it still works perfectly fine when I need to unlock my phone. I tried to look at the respective app's settings and this is what I see. The fingerprint sign in option is off and when trying to turn it on it won't let me do that. (I only have one online ID in my phone btw). Does anyone knows what would be the issue?

UPDATE: I now tried uninstalling - reinstalling the Bank of America app and the issue is resolved. I tried the same method on the other app and the issue hasn't been resolved
