Fingerprint scanner not working after update, Galaxy S7

[AC Question]

I'm with AT@T and after our last update few weeks ago my fingerprint scanner no longer works. It just tells me to make sure my home key is clean and try again. It does not even attempt to read my fingerprint. I have already wiped cache clean and that has not helped. Any other suggestions?
