Fingerprint screen lock option disappeared

I have a ZTE Blade Spark, using Android 7.1.1. The fingerprint option is gone when I go into security under settings.

I've tried several things:
-hard reset
-soft reset
-factory reset
-cleared the cache in boot mode
-gone into safe mode and option is still not there
-changed the screen lock to none and restarted the phone, then set a pattern and restarted, still wasn't there

I took some Screenshots but I don't know where to attach them. I'm out of ideas. Please help! Thx.

Next to the 2 globes at the top of the area in which you type your post - the square is insert images. Upload them, then ... you'll see.

As for the fingerprint option, did it disappear by itself, or did you get an update? (It should still be in 7.1.1 - it's still in 9.0 - but ZTE may have removed it.)
