fingerprint sensor goes away after 1 second in lockscreen

when i wakeup the screen by (1) double tap or (2) press the power button, i see the fingerprint on the lockscreen, however it goes away after 1 second. i have both face and fingerprints enables, could this be the problem?

anyone having this issue??

You more than likely have smart lock on. Mine does the same thing but I have smart lock on and it unlocks when I am at home because I have it set to unlock.
