firefox on android without encryption

Hello out there, I ask myself for a long time why Firefox on Android loads websites without encryption at the beginning. Means: when I invoke a website, Firefox fetches it with a unclosed locksymbol, but after 1 or 2 seconds or so, it changes this to a closed lock. Is this a known issue or does this happen only on my instance?

Hello B. Diddy, hello mustang7757. Yes so it seems. Most of the time it starts without encryption, sometimes only a glimpse of a second. Its not all the time e.x. Wikipedia seems to be encrypted from the start.

It looks like Firefox for Android doesn't have a setting for https only. You can install an extension called HTTPS Everywhere instead.
