First boot power on issues

So I can't power on my N9 after unboxing for a firstboot ... I tried powering it up pressing for 90sec, tried different cable, ensured cable works,etc ... Seems really odd to get a bad N9 but it can happen, just curious if there's any tricks I'm missing before returning this device.

24 hour charge with the wall charger. If that doesn't fix it, return it.
