If you tap on the watch and Google comes up you can Either say start and the name of the app or scroll down to where it says start and touch it will bring you to a list of apps you can run

Yea, finding out how to run the installed watch apps was not the most intuitive... Easy once you've figured it out tho.

I've posted some comparison pics to other common smartwatches and my first impressions of the LG G Watch HERE

I actually really like the watch band it came with but I will probably swap it out when I find one I like.

Yeah, I have a leather band for mine, but seem to like the stock band, so I haven't switched. I love the low profile buckle. Working at a keyboard all day, I tend not to like the thick buckles.

How can you do that? In setting's app i can't find lg watch to pair

After install on my phone, I started the app and the watch showed up. Go to your watch and say "OK Google Start Runtastic" and see if it works.

If you already had Runtastic installed on the phone, start Android Wear on the phone and resync your apps.

The only way I've found to reply to a text is the swiping over twice and hitting the "Respond to SMS" option or whatever it says. It then lets you talk the message.

I don't have this option. I only have the option to open the text on my phone. Using Handsent.

EvolveSMS has the feature to swipe to reply. It's just a matter of time before most 3rd party apps catch up.

It has very limited support for Android Wear. If you have multiple texts, you are unable to reply. And it doesn't properly set the read status on a message thread when you do reply. So basically, because of these issues, you can essentially only reply to 1 text before you have to pull your phone out.

Thanks for all the reviews. I still can't decide if I'm going to wait for the Moto 360 or not though. Maybe I'll buy this and sell it when the Moto 360 comes out.

So far so good. I just realized today there is a whole set of apps for it. Not to load it down, but I installed the flashlight, calculator, phone finder, and wear mini launcher. That's all the basic stuff I'd use for now. I'd like a watch face with the temp and weather on it all the time, but didn't care much for the "better wear face" app.

Liking it so far. It paid for itself for me when I realised it worked flawlessly for pausing, skipping etc. things playing via Chromecast such as Music, YouTube, Netflix, Play Movies and iPlayer. The rest is a bonus. ;)

Mine finally arrived in Kuwait yesterday. I got it in white. The band is a bit much for me, so I'll be swapping it out as soon as I can. Overall, I really like the watch. I wish the battery was a bit more resilient, but it's a Gen 1 device, so I know it's more of a proof of concept.

I like that I don't have to constantly paw at my phone, and have access to everything I need on my wrist.

Excellent experience so far. I've had the G watch for a week now. Battery life is satisfactory. First few days I had 35% left at the end of the day but its getting better. Today I had almost 42% remaining at the end of the day. I charge it everyday for average use and screen ON all the time. Haven't installed any 3rd party apps. I like the pure google experience. Like to see more attractive watch faces because the native ones suck. This is going to be great after developers flood this with 3rd party apps. Very happy.

Thing i hate: there is no way to keep the screen always on. Even with the option is on, after few seconds the screen goes in mid tones

That's my plan. I just can't wait, I need to play with Android Wear.

I've had mine for about a week and a half now its its just nice to have to easily see directions when navigating, I love controlling the music with it in my car and I like that I can easily text back while driving just by talking.

I have been a Pebble user for several months that really got used to the smart watch idea.

I received my G Watch two nights again, so yesterday was my first full day.

So far I really like it. We definitely need more apps, but they will come.

I work twelve hour days, so, when at nine thirty am, I was already down to 80% battery! I was nervous. When I finally arrived home at nine pm, I had less than twenty percent battery. I had made it through the day without trying to conserve battery. I will be keeping an eye on if this improves or not for sure.
