Got my S6 edge from AT&T today. Here are my first impressions. There are no scratches on the screen that I can see. The phone does not seem to be hot or overheating at all. I'm not noticing much lag except for some period of time where it was trying to upload a bunch of photos onto a cloud and that slowed everything down.

I like the features that you can use on the edge including the tickers and notification updates but I really hope they expand the edge lighting functions. Right now it uses an email account that I don't use because I use Gmail, a messaging app that I don't use because I use the Google messenger, and missed calls which I like. I'm really hoping hoping that gets opened up for other developers to add their specific apps to the lighting so I can get notifications for things like whatsapp.

All in all, it feels great and it looks great and I'm really happy to have it!

Congratulation..please update that AT&T unit has battery drain issue? Thanks..

Why would a new phone have scratches on the screen?...

Some users have reported that they recieved their S6 from T-Mobile with a very high amount of scratches ranging from the entire screen to even some deep scratches in one or two spots.

Anyone noticing an issue with the smart lock? I have it set to not require a fingerprint when I'm home but it's requiring one anyway. No photos yet worth posting (gray and rainy here) but I love how quick the camera app opens!

I just received my ATT Black Sapphire 128GB last night and there are the circular scratches all over the front. I initially didn't notice them but under a direct light such as a lamp they are all over. Looked at the phone in my car and you cant see them. Very strange. I am going to exchange.

Sorry to hear that. I've got two 64gb edges arriving on thursday and I am praying that they are scratch free.

uh oh. Sorry to hear that. Wonder if it is just a first run batch that is now fixed or if this will be a problem they have not addressed yet.

I am really disappointed. The phone is gorgeous. I initially didnt notice the scratches and was happy. This morning I got it out of its box to put a sim in and lo and behold they are all over the place. Difference was when I opened it last night I didnt have the light on in the room but this morning I did.

Man, this is looking like terrible news. I'm really hoping mine doesn't come in like this. This is the phone I've been looking for. Guess I'll just have to keep swapping it until I get a clean one. :\

It is really strange. In certain lighting like outdoors you cant see anything but inside under a room with a fixture there are a ton of micro circular scratches.

I'll put it under my bedside light as soon as I crack open that box. If there's an issue, I'll be sending it back and wait a little bit until they get the issue taken care of, or just go with the regular S6.
