While I was sending a picture message yesterday, then the screen suddenly went off and then rebooted on its own. No blue screen of death though. :p

Anyone else experience a random reboot, and if so what app were you using?

My brand new international Samsung mega reboots 2 or 3 times a day on its own. Does anyone have a solution? I'm thinking about having it rooted., Samsung is of no help since it's an international phone. They say I have to contact India to get any help., since that's where it was made. The problem is you can't call them call them from this area code. Using their 800 number. Google tells me its a Samsung problem samsung says it's a Google's problem. Anyone have any ideas ?

Mine did that for some reason whenever I tried using the stock browser. Had to do a factory reset.

Mine does it just sitting on a table. I've done two hard resets. They may have slowed down I can't tell yet.

Are you posting in the right forum? This one is for the AT&T Note 3, not the Mega.

I've had my GN3 for two weeks and it has rebooted by itself 3 times. Only one of them was an annoyance. I'm not concerned yet but I could be it it continues.

The only real way to know if its the phone and something that has been added to the phone is to run a Note 3 w/out an additional software and see if the rebooting continues. Now, that's not very likely but any app added could be contributing to instability, even if it was fine on another device.

Not only an app. A battery that throws intermittent shorts (dendrites) will do the same thing. The short is burned off almost immediately, but the voltage drops to 0 at the moment of shorting and the phone turns off. Once the short burns off the phone restarts. (It's a factory defect in the battery, but good luck getting it replaced for free.)

Mine just crashed, and it crashed 2 or three times yesterday. Today it crashed while I was playing with Multi window.

No reboots here but I get force closes all the time from various apps.

When I said Crash, I should have said restarted... its restarted on its own out of the blue, where its just sitting on the table about 4-5 times now.

I've been reading of others having the same issue...random restarts. I've been lucky so far, still haven't experienced this as of yet.

I have the Australian Telstra variant and mine reboots about 2 times a day for no reason. It must be a hardware issue...liking the post by Rukbat, makes a lot of sense but how do we go about proving it?
