First rom and it failed

I used Rom manager with DamageControlv3.1.2-deodexed.

Took forever to reboot, and had to shut down to finally reboot.

Many processes are stopping unexpectedly, I have no phone dial pad.

I suppose I got to restore my original and start over?

When in doubt Restore

Did you do backup and do a full wipe when you installed?

trying to remember steps-

for sure I backuped, and i did not wipe cache -- thats all i recall from process

Should have wiped cache before you flashed that rom. Wipe data, cache, and dalvik if you can and try again I says..

dalvik wipe is possible with rom manager-?- doing a restore now so will have to wait til i can see that

Yes, I use ROM Manager to flash my ROMs.

thanks all-- restored-- and will try again- and wiped cache but not the dalvik as it wasnt an option, installed Fresh Evo

and works like a charm-


Lesson is-- to always wipe the cache.
