First Software Update

Hi Android Forum Team, I updated the software of my samsung j2 lollipop 5.1.1 for the first time, prior to this i searched on android videos on youtube in this video a dude updating he's samsung j1, from installing screen then it goes to optimizing apps. But in my installation earlier my phone didn't went into optimizing apps, is it normal? Thanks in Advance
