First things you did with your new Nexus

Ok so I am getting a new Nexus 6 64gb in Blue tomorrow and I wanted to know what everyone else did with theirs when they got it aside from power on and set it up. Did you snap pictures of everything or download key apps, and if you did what were they? Did you do an unboxing video? I would love to hear what I should do upon setting it up. Rooting is an option for me and it probably won't be long before I root so feel free to include stuff involving root. When you post, include your size and color just so I have an idea.

Well I'm white, about 6'2...

Blue, 32 GB.
Set up Nova Launcher and got all my apps downloaded.
Brightness, background, screen saver, etc.
Just rooted mine and running CM12 which is REALLY cool.
Hacked the LED light and got it working.

It's all personal preference. The beauty of Android.

I finally got my 64g a couple weeks back. I didn't do an unboxing video but I DID do an unboxing picture montage sort of speak to show off to coworkers. I titled it "Coming Soon, The Unboxing". I had it showing my Spigen case prior and after, turbo charger, the case, the box and all that.

I already had the Nexus 5 with Lollipop so there was nothing to play with really. And to my surprise the Tap and Go work flawlessly, transferred all my downloaded apps and placed them exact folder and position I had them in. Only had to setup a few widgets.

First thing I did was unlock the bootloader since that wipes all memory. I'm sporting a 32gb Midnight Blue and absolutely loving it on VZW!!

great now that you can get Prime shipping. It used to take weeks. The protector itself is a bit smaller than the screen due to the Nexus 6 screen curving at the edge etc. Overall Orzly has been a great brand.

Then its play time.

I stayed on stock for a few weeks while the custom community got their act together, been running Dirty Unicorns for a little over a month now.

2. turn the led on, install titanium backup
3. Install tasker and go crazy
