2. speed test data while on a phone call. did very well
3. did a quadrant test. first score was 1869

Set brightness to 100% and inspected screen for dust/stuck pixels. Also checked with screen off under bright light for dust.

watched some porn

Started downloading my apps that didn't seem to sync from my Nexus

Downloaded NFL Mobile app hoping it would work but it says not compatible with this device

watched some porn

Speedtest

Tested phone calls

watched some porn

Gmail

started playing with browser, testing Flash, downloaded that Flash 10.2 beta floating around

Set up all my notifications and ringtones

Set up google voice

then I decided to watch some porn

:)

Setup my gmail account
Setup the friend stream app for Facebook and Twitter
Linked contacts
Ran several speed tests
Side loaded a bunch of cool TB backgrounds posted on the forum
Downloaded and setup wallswitcher to use said background images
Got rid of most of the widgets on the desktop and customized each pane with live apps
Started texting my wife to get use to the touch screen keyboard
Tried using swype, ended up removing it
Downloaded a couple of apps from the market
Researched trying to get a Cisco ipsec vpn to work to no avail, yet.
Perused forums I frequent (love the 4.3" screen for that)
Read several page of girl with a dragon tattoo from the kindle app
Let it charge over night.

I think that cover moat of day one.

I said to myslef I was just going to set up, BT headset, K-9 and handcent and do the rest after work. Then oh I will just this one more program. two hours later I was still playing with it.

Put on a silicon cover and screen protector... promptly dropped it 2 minutes later like an idiot. All good though.
Downloaded some games and apps.
Personalized it a bit.
Set up all of my accounts.
Loaded up my pictures and music.
browsed all of my websites I frequent. then connected to my wifi and did it again to see the difference between 3G and wifi (no 4G in my area).
Plugged it in the charge overnight and went to bed.

Love it so far. this is my first Android phone and I couldn't be happier.

The first thing I did was put on my Seidio Innocase Surface (Burgundy and Beautiful!) case and put on a screen protector. Then I found the android market and looked for the Tapatalk App. I loaded it but the problem is I can't find these android central forums on it! So I went to the internet site from my TB and when it loaded the site it said "Android native" and something about downloading tapatalk and lead me to it but I already have it! So how do I find this forum in the App!!! Within the app i searched for thunderbolt and it found something called thunderboltforums.net but i still didn't find anything for this website!! HELP!!

Noooo! I feel stupid :D That's probably pretty important right!! I'll let you know if it worked or not? And I tried the Quandrant Benchmark and it wont work. It gets to the end and says "an unexpected error occurred" and gives me the option to report or force out. I reported and kept trying and just forced it out.

Well after spending an hour in the store getting it set to actually work. Threw a case on it and started downloading apps. Now all that is left is to find a fitting way to destroy my old Palm 700..... I'm taking all suggestions.

Ok..in the Android Market there are 2 Apps: 1 is called Android central and the other is called Android Central Widget. I got them both but can't find the forums still. Any further advice??

The first thing that I did with my TBolt was looked at "Please wait while your phone is activating" screen for 27 hours as customer service reps jerk me around...
The account tied to the phone is incomplete, and no one knows how to fix it.
I'm being told to wait for some mythical account transfer to run through their system.

Verizon has already shut down my Prepaid phone account, so I don't have a personal phone at all today. :(

The first thing I did was charged it up using the bump charge method, then put on a screen protector.
Then I set some screen settings and ringtones.
Played around with Android, and tried to get familiar with the different menus and system settings.
Hooked up a headset and set some favorite FM Tuner presets.
Played around with the Camera, Camcorder, and Flashlight apps.
That's about all I can do without network connectivity.
