Is That is the correct model # I believe thats the international version but im not 100% sure. If so It has a different cpu. Its the inferior exynos chip rather then the snapdragon. SM-G985f is the exynos edition

Where are you located? If you are in the US that's not the right model. That's the not so great exynos unlocked model but again depend on where you are located.

If you are in the US you will want to buy the official US unlocked model that would be something like SM-G985U1 or something like that in your case since you are looking for S20+. You will want the official US model because of warranty and also it's Snapdragon, it also has WiFi calling, volte etc on US carriers except on AT&T. It'll will also have the right 5G bands etc.
Basically you would want to buy the official unlocked model for the region you are in.

In the US, you can buy it at samsung.com or best buy. On Amazon be careful since there will be lots of third party sellers selling the international unlocked model as well. So you will have to look for ships and sold by Amazon listing for the official US Unlocked models.
