First time rooter (galaxy s2)

So I was hearing a lot about people rooting their phones. What benefits are there in rooting. Also what is the best way to root?

There are also root only apps that you might find useful. Search root in google play and you will see.

I would heavily suggest rom tool box and titanium back up yes with root and s-off you can do some majorly cool things such as: get a custom rom!!!! Over or under clock your device cor insane performance ir that long illuded 24 hour battery on one charge??? You can getvrid of the stuff you dont use on your phone such as the carrier apps that you cant delete??? Ex:carrier iq or that pesky gps service that robs memory and you cant delete it and it wants you to pay for it just sayin with root and the rite settings you have total controll over your phone no bs total controll!!!!
