First Time Use - Battery

Should the battery be charged fully before first time use? And what are good charging habits thereafter? Just want to make sure I get the most outta the battery.

Yes, do charge it fully before using it but don't download all the apps you want immediately. Stretch it over a few charge cycles. Initially let the battery die or get as low as possible for the first week or two of it's life. After usually as low as possible or just when needed after that time period.

I couldn't wait to play with mine as soon as I opened it. I used it from where it started at sixty percent and then charged it that night. Have I done any harm to my battery ?
