FItbit Buying Pebble?

Every other news source in the universe from Forbes to Phandroid is reporting that Fitbit is buying Pebble for $40 million for its technology and will be ending the Pebble brand and products. Has AC not reported anything about this because, perhaps, it has different information? Please let us know what you know about this. Will I be able to buy a Pebble Time 2 & Core in 2017?

I was just reading this on another Android site and wondered also why AC hasn't reported it. Never been a fan of Pebble but if I recall, a few of the writers prefer it over other smartwatches.

I actually have 2 Pebbles, the original and a Pebble Round. I like the Round and am sorry that we won't likely see future Pebbles. Fitbit's purchase means the end of Pebble but maybe we'll see some more desirable Fitbits. I hope.
