Not sure what is going on with all these apps. It seems to be a mess.

I have Fitbit installed on the Google Watch, and Pixel 7. I think I have Health Connect installed on the Pixel 7, but it is not in my list of apps, only in settings.

What does Health Connect do???? I installed Google Fit, but all the FitBit data did not sync, O2 data for example.

I read you needed Health Sync to get all the data synced.

What do I need on the watch, and what are all these other apps.

This is very confusing, at least to me.

I am still looking for a good O2 important reading.

Can someone shed some light on why and how all these apps are needed and are they all necessary.

Comments, What do I need to install on the Watch to match the Pixel 7. Does the watch read data for Google Fit, Health Connect, etc.

There's more info here: https://support.google.com/android/answer/12201227?hl=en

I don't think it will allow one app to fully integrate the data from another, but you can access the data from all connected apps in a separate interface. For example, in the Fitbit app, you should see an option for Health Connect Data under the Records heading (in the You tab). This will show you all of the various data in Health Connect that has been gathered from your various apps.

Which app are you using to record O2 sat? If you primarily use your Pixel Watch as your fitness/health device, then there's no need to have Google Fit installed anywhere, since Fitbit is more tightly integrated with the watch.
