I got the s26 base and I got this belkin boost charge 2 in 1 wireless charger but no matter what I did it won't give the 15w fast wireless charge.

I first plugged the charger to the official samsung cable and the 45w fast charger both are samsung. Then I used the 60w belkin cable with the samsung adapter and then I used the 60w cable with a 100w charger. All of this doesn't show the fast wireless charging.

Then I took out the magsafe case and then put the phone on the charger but still no luck. I even got the official samsung case with the ring and still the problem persists. What gives?

What is your battery percentage when you're attempting to charge?

For the most part, and I mean this in the most general way possible, none of these numbers are to be taken as exact/hard numbers, but when you charge from 0% to ~50% you will get the high number touted on the package. 15W 45W 60W, whatever your device can take. Above 50% charging slows and continues to slow as it gets closer and closer to 100%, until it is a trickle in the 90s. This is all to reduce wear and tear on the battery. If you want to see your maximum charging wattage, put it on the charger when you're around 20%.

Other things to look for. You can also check that you have fast charging enabled. Samsung offers an option to enable or disable fast charging for wired and wireless charging. To check this follow these instructions.

Steps to Enable Fast Charging (S26, S26+, S26 Ultra):
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap on Battery.
  3. Select Charging settings.
  4. Toggle on Fast charging (25W), Super fast charging (45W/60W), and Fast wireless charging as needed.

This is how Google explains it.
Phone batteries charge faster from 0% to 50–80% (bulk phase) because the lithium-ion cells can rapidly absorb energy when empty, utilizing high constant current. Charging slows significantly after 80% (saturation phase) to a "trickle charge" to protect the battery from overheating and damage caused by high voltage.

The Charging Cycle: 0 to 100%
The process utilizes a two-phase charging system designed to balance speed with battery longevity.
EcoFlow +1

  • Phase 1: Fast/Bulk Charging (approx. 0%–70/80%): The charger sends maximum voltage to the battery, which accepts the power quickly and efficiently. The battery is "empty," so there is little resistance, allowing high-speed charging without producing excessive heat.
  • Phase 2: Slow/Saturation Charging (80%–100%): As the battery approaches maximum capacity, the charger switches to a constant voltage. The charging current decreases slowly to prevent overheating and prevent the battery from becoming damaged by excessive "voltage pressure" as it fills.
Their percentages are higher than what I've found, when they are saying up to 70%. I've not seen a Samsung stay at that high of an input that far into the charge cycle but again these are not hard or set numbers.

Ok so they have basically designed it this way?

I charge it from the 20% range and I set it to maximum 80% charge to prolong the battery life. Lasts nearly a day and a half here.

But its as you said, when I do the wireless charge it triggers the fast charge. Then after a certain period where it reaches the 50% I think, that's when it reverts to normal charge.

I guess if that is the case then my belkin charger isn't defective...
