Fitbit on the Google Watch 2

Just finishing my free trial on Google Watch 2 with Fitbit. How do I get the heartbeat tile to stay on the display during exercise. The display is always going to sleep.

The Fitbit apps, no real time Oxygen reading, too much useless information, etc, and too expensive.

Also the Google watch is cluttered with Fitbit apps, no integration.

Is there ever going to be a better solution for Google watches than Fitbit.

When I start a specific exercise, the information (including heartbeat) remains on the screen. Do you have your watch's "Always-on screen" setting turned on, under Display?
