Fitting wallpaper to screen

I wanted to ask this here to see if folks are experiencing the same problem. I love live wallpaper and its pretty cool to use it etc. I just got a blue case and want to put a yankees wallpaper on my phone (I know, "...there's your problem right there...the yankees!!")
Before you go jumping...I can only get a little bit of the picture to show up.

Am I doing something wrong? I also have zedge set up for my phone so it should find the right diminestions right?

Just curious, any help would be appreciated.

i have a 4inch screen and i need 800x400 size picture

MultiPicture Live Wallpaper - Android app on AppBrain

set this up as livewallpaper, but it allows you to set a picture to each home screen so you can set it up with all the screens with the same picture and it will fill the screen on each page
