FIXED: error downloading

All of a sudden today all the app updates are giving an error. Error retrieving information from the server. I rebooted the device. Unrooted nexus 7 4.2

Fixed it - removed my google account and added it back.

How do you remove your Google account? I didn't see the option under settings.

You need to go into system settings and remove the Google account from accounts then add it back. Just had to do the same thing to fix the same issue. Might also need to select Google Play Store from application management and clear data and cache before adding the Google account back.

Thanks, it worked. I just took a long time to upgrade lots of apps.

Hi- There is no option for removing or deleting a Google account on my Nexus 7. Not sure what to do now, don't want to do a full factory reset. Any ideas?

Same think happened to me after updating to 4.3 I just deleted the account, and then added it back, and this worked like a charm.
