FIXED! GoDaddy Calendar sync issues!!

BlackBerry 10 OS
BlackBerry legacy OS7
Apple iPhone and iPad
Not sure about WP...
Well, then, I guess you should get one of those.

I've seen how multiple calendars works on iStuff, btw. Compared to the way CalDAV-Sync works, it sucks. And that's one advantage to ISVs: Oft-times you get better results. In fact: There are few stock apps I use on Android.

Hey Stoney! Guess you didn't actually read the whole thing. I have a BlackBerry Z10 and its works great with the Caldav sync built into the phone.

It's my WORKER'S phone that I was trying to get it working on. His GS4. I don't control what phone he gets.

p.s. I actually also added my workers calendar to my phone as well so my phone is running multiple CalDav syncs and does it flawlessly

Tnx! after days of running around, I finally came across your post and managed to resolve my calendar sync issue. Much obliged.

Have you had any issues with the calendar syncing the the past few months with GoDaddy?

Both my BlackBerry Z10 and my workers GS4 won't sync anymore. I took the time and found the fix. See my edited top post now with the fix. (The URL now needs caldav.secureserver.net:8443/... and the rest the same)

Let me know if you need any advice on this fix.

Thanks for posting the update. I decided to give GoDaddy's calendaring service a try (I'm trying to rid myself of as much Google as I can), and could not get it to work with CalDAV-Sync.

One correction, though:

[snip]
URL: Type https: //caldav.secureserver.net:8443/principals/users/EMAIL ADDRESS/ <-- insert your email address in full where it says EMAIL ADDRESS and make sure of the / at the end ALSO remove [space] after the https: (I added that to prevent the automatic hyperlink in the forum)
You do not need your email address at the end of the URL. You can end the URL at ".../users/". CalDAV-Sync will apparently figure it out.

ETA: I suggested to GoDaddy they improve their docs, and to CalDAV-Sync's developer that he might consider a GoDaddy setup.

Jim
