(FIXED) Xperia Play doesn't like my SD card?

The Xperia Play comes with an 8GB card, so I immediately replaced it with my Patriot 16GB Class 4 card that I had from my Droid 2 Global, which never had any problems. I put it in my Xperia, and it immediately unmounts the card. I tried formatting it in both the phone and the PC, and it still immediately unmounts it. I tried factory resetting the phone, and it still refuses to keep it mounted. If I'm in the Storage Settings, I'll see the phone briefly acknowledge 14.89GB or whatever right before it unmounts it. Even after all this weirdness, it still works 100% in the D2 Global.

Does the Xperia Play have something against my card?

(Fixed it!!! Turns out there are small white tabs on the back inside of the phone that need to be depressed by the battery cover before the phone will mount any cards. I was trying all of this stuff with the cover off.)

yeah, that confused me too, it's a feature so that it automatically unmounts your old card when you take off the back, but your new one won't work until you put it back on
