Flash 10.2 on XOOM available right now!!!!!

Yep thats right u can get flash 10.2 on ur xoom now, no need to wait a week!

OTA update not needed, however im guessing OTA will make the flash run smoother. Also i recommend setting User agent to desktop for best results.

INSRUCTIONS:

Download file from link below.
Change file extension from .zip to .apk
open file and install!

i would think so as motorola said the update is needed to support that version of flash...this sucks i still havent gotten the 1st update yet...argh

However on xda some people are saying that the flash works without the update. i imagine it might work, just might not have hardware acceleration.

Garbanian, no need to sideload, just dowload the apk from the link using ur xoom and open the file and install. If it downloads as a .zip rename it to .apk.

I just watched the first 10 minutes of the movie contact at amazon.com and that is pretty awesome. Took a solid minute to buffer good quality but playback was OK, it could be better but it's not bad either.

I followed the link in the OP to MyDroidLife and the first sentence in that thread is enough to deter me from trying this:

"I'm sitting in my office today and I get a PM asking me if I would like something special for my Xoom and that all they would need is my email addy."

I think I'll wait until it's official in a week...

I never got the update from motorola but flash is working near perfectly with one exception

...I can't get the keyboard to pop up within a flash window

It seems as though this is a veryyy early build of Flash 10.2, according to Droid Life. It seems to work well enough, but I am looking forward to the new version on Friday.
