Flash Ads/Javascript on AC chokes my browser

i don't mind ads but it i think some are choking my browser. is anyone else having a problem?

using latest version of Chrome 14 on Win 7.

Is it constant? Is it the forums, blog, or both? Do you have the Superfooter hidden?

seems pretty constant. seems like the choke is in the forums - not the blog. not sure what the superfooter is but i don't have any adblockers etc. installed or enabled. feels like the choke is in the top banner flash ad as it chokes while it's blank/loading and the gets "relieved" once it appears.

Sorry, the Superfooter is the area at the bottom of the page with the "from the forums, social networking, meet the team etc..." There's an option to hide it. If it isn't, please try hiding and let me know if that helps. If it is indeed the banner ad, I'll research it some more.
