Anyone have a suggestion on what to put on galaxy note 1 in place of the adobe flash player since its not available anymore?

Yes you can sideload it. There is also APK's available for both ICS and Jelly Bean for the latest versions that you can use to install as well. I have found them on XDA myself. So far the only news I have heard in regards to this is Adobe is planning on mixing Adobe Air with Flash Player. Dont know how true it is, but that was the rumor I heard.
