I have a nephew who has been living on the streets. Long story but can't hold a job and can't/won't live with any relative. I tracked him down and want to give him a T-Mobile Stylo 4 my father used before he died and pay for service.
The phone is carrier unlocked and compatible with the service I'm going to pay for which uses T-Mobile. I reset it but there are a bunch of T-Mobile apps that I can't even remove from the home screen. I know I can just leave them there but wonder if there is a way and if its worth it to flash it as a generic Stylo if such a thing even exists. Only been an Android user myself for less than a year so don't have a clue.
