Flashable build.prop

Can somebody get me the build.prop from bumblebee 2.4 in flashable form? I accidently flashed a different one. I dont want to install the whole rom again from scratch. I already tried posting in the bumblebee thread with no replies. I would really appreaciate it. Thanks.

If you have the ROM with it in there you could always pull it out yourself. Its not that difficult.

Open the ROM using WinRAR or 7zip.

Navigate to the /system/ directory and you will see the build.prop

Just drag and drop it out of the zip file into any flashable zip you have for your device. Just make sure your flashable zip has a "system" folder in the main directory of the flashable zip and place the build.prop in there.

I'm sure if you take your time and have a little patience you can pull this off very easily.

Yes you can do that too... If you have root access and a root access level file manager you can drop the new build.prop in right over your existing build.prop. Reboot and you should be gold.

First try the reboot without wiping and see if the build.prop updates, otherwise then you may need to do a cache/dalvik cache wipe. Normally wipes is reserved for framework changes, but I think you can get away without it on the build.prop

I just tried replacing it with root explorer but it says the file system is read only. Any ideas?

Look in the top right corner see the button marked make r/w? Click it.

Yep do as Eollie recommended, upper right hand corner. Click the toggle button " Mount R/O". Make it "Mount R/W"
