Flashing Blue Notification LED

Hi, I am using my Nexus 5 for couple of days now. Don't have any led dedicated app. and have the same problem everyday. It seems like it happens almost at the same time, around 7:00 P.M. Checking all the notifications, and there aren't any .... The only way to resolve this issue is to restart the phone ...:(
It seems like there are yet many things to fix on this phone, as there are so many other problems as well, like sometimes youa re not able to recive a call while writing an email or surfing the web as no notification appears on the screen ... phone rings and no access to Phone app. controls ...again, it is gone after restarting ... :'(

I get a blue led flash when I get a favorite for a photo or retweet with Twitter, not running Lightflow, just stock

Hi,

I had the same problem and my culprit was Twitter. If you don't use LightFlow, the best places to look are Facebook and Twitter notifications and Google Play apps waiting for installation.

I think i just figured out what it was. The only thing my phone was trying to tell me when it was flashing that was that I had new google now cards. I looked at them and it stopped flashing.

I just had this problem last night. My phone was just blinking a blue led. I have two apps that I set to blink blue IM+ Pro and Textra. Neither had notifications. What finally stopped it for me was a got a new email and it kicked over to the normal LED color.

I don't have lightflow installed, don't have Facebook either (saw it mentioend in this thread). Does it sound like a notification just got hung?

Thanks.

I do not know the reason, but I find a way to turn it off.

Install Light Manager
Click "Test" (at the bottom, the second last item)
Toogle the LED start checkbox
Switch off the screen
Switch on the screen

Re: Flashing Blue Notification LED.

I pulled my phone out a bit ago and my LED Notification LED was flashing blue at me. I checked the notification area and there was nothing there. I checked my settings in Light Flow Lite and checked the three areas it was controlling that had a bluish light set. Nothing there (I even changed the colors of those notifications - no change). I looked around the phone as much as I could figure out and could find nothing. I finally had to reboot the phone to get the light to go off. Anyone have any idea what a blue flashing notification LED is supposed to signify on the base phone (I'm assuming it's not a Light Flow Lite issue since it would show anything it set to use that color)?

This has a very simple fix. Go to Settings/Sound & Notifications/Pulse Notification Light Un-check. Problem solved. Of course if you would like to know when there are notifications, just leave it on.

For me, for some reason, Light Manager had just randomly turned the 'blue light for connected blue tooth' light on after a reboot. Weird.

It's an amber alert notification
