Flashing colours/checked screen on tablet

My galaxy tab is flasing red/blue/green/checked screen is a constant cycle. Tried power plus volume down to reboot but just takes me back to the same screen of colours. Was working fine this morning. Please help!

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, that sounds like a hardware failure. You'll have to bring it to a repair shop.
