I unlocked my bootloader through htc, and so now I can theoretically flash new roms without root correct? I've successfully flashed a recovery (twrp 2.2) but when using the fastboot update command, flashing fails, it also fails when I attempt to flash through recovery. Is this because I am not yet rooted? or what else do I need to do?
