Flashing New Radio prior to Root

Hey All,

I plan on getting my TB this Thursday. I have been doing some research on these forums and realize that for more ROMs that you need to flash the radio. Is flashing the radio possible before root or must i root first and create a backup prior to flashing with the new radio?

You'll have to root first if you want to flash the new leaked radio, otherwise you can wait for an ota update with the new radio, but you may not be able to root with the current method afterwards if they tighten the security.
