Flashing ROM

I am interested in flashing my rom w/ ..Jelly Belly v.3 w/AwesomeBeats? Nothin But Butter!!!!..., need a lil more info to do this correctly please. I have 4.1 JB installed. I am doing this to get better volume and other mods as well.

Well I'm gonna start with the basic questions... are you rooted, unocked, and have cwm?

Okay. So first, you would want to read this: How to Root Galaxy Nexus! [Universal Guide][GSM/Verizon/Sprint][Windows/Linux/Mac] | GalaxyNexusRoot.com

This will give you steps to unlocking the boot loader and rooting. From there, typically putting new ROMS on your phone are as simple as putting the .zip of the rom on your phone, rebooting your phone into recovery, factory reset and wiped cache, installing the rom, (Usually want to back your phone up first, just in case you need or want to revert back). And thats about it.

Just be sure you know if you have GSM, CDMA, etc etc because specific builds will have different images and steps required.
