flashing the modem? how?

Can someone explain to me how to flash the modem with odin. i am getting ready to upgrade to sindicate 1.1.0 and.. i need help with flashing the modem. Thanks.

im looking at ODIN now what are the other sections for? phone, csc, and PIT?

If you download the Odin package from the ACS thread, you'll find a .exe and a .pit in the zip. The .pit goes in the pit section. Don't worry about phone or csc. Oh and only the auto-reboot box should be checked on the left side of the Odin screen.

Thanks Rag. seems to have taken without me putting the pit file in place. it said PASS at the end.

If it works without the .pit file that's fine. But if it ever doesn't work, adding the .pit file usually helps things along.

when i flash a new modem i use the .pit that came with the version of android i'm using (eb13 deodexed ext4 downloaded from AC). put it in the pit section, and the modem in whatever the 2nd section is below that. The top space is for the android OS itself. the next line is modem. when i wanted to put the ec05 modem on my phone i just redid the whole phone- new odin with .pit, eb13, and ec05 modem. put in odin in that order. run like normal.

actually it depends, if you are on eb13 or di18 you can use the ota to upgrade your modem to ec05
