Flashlight Alerts: Anyone have success with this?

The flashlight alert app seems to be an alternative to the flashing small light we have for notifications as it enables the led lights to flash when you miss a call, txt, email etc ... anyone try this yet and have good results, also am curious about battery -

it works awesome! just tried it out...im sure it wastes some battery life, but oh well
