A
Android Central Question
Hello,
I have a similar problem to the one described there:
https://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s7-edge/668926-how-keep-flash-led-while-taking-photo.html
I want to have my torch/ flashlight turned ON continuously, during taking pictures. Not just popping for a second to focus, but staying ON before, during and after taking a picture. In the thread there was suggested a workaround to use video mode and take snapshot during video capture. This surely is a method but has two disadvantages:
1) The photo is cropped to 16:9 ratio, so I cannot utilize the full resolution available in my phone camera,
2) I have to take extra steps to save and then remove unnecessary video.
For me a perfect solution would be a third-party torch/ flashlight app or camera app that keeps the torch ON - before, during and after taking a picture.
I use Samsung Galaxy J7.
