flashlight

It'a also in your app drawer, so you can put it on any home screen or in a folder on a home screen. I even have it assigned to my blue "active key" with a long press.

I am trying to add it to as my Activity Button short press but I don't see Flashlight as a choice. What am I missing? Thanks

Were you able to put some other app on that "short press" of the activity button? Like I said, the Flashlight app is in my app drawer, but I am not sure it was there until AFTER I removed the activity app from the activity button! And the Flashlight app CAN be uninstalled so maybe you did that by mistake.

Nope still can't locate "Flashlight"
I know I could download a different flashlights from the App Store, but at this point it's simply the principal. Kind of driving me crazy.

Painful...but I would recommend a factory reset of your device.

Hmm.. Like I said above, I put the flashlight in the quick settings drop down, but was just looking for the actual Flashlight app in the app drawer and it isn't in mine either. :-\

I don't ever recall there being a dedicated flashlight app. As everyone has stated, either put it in your quick settings drop down or download a 3rd party flashlight app.

Apologies!!!

Forget what I said in previous posts on this topic. I did so much stuff on day one with this phone, I confused even myself. I thought I have been using the flashlight app that resides inside of the "Activity Zone" App, and had that assigned to my "Activity" key. WRONG

I did reassign the "Activity Key" long press to a flashlight, but it is the "Tiny Flash + LED" app that I downloaded from Google Play Store.

Whatever "flashlight" function is in the "Activity Zone" app does not show up in the app drawer. My guess is that it is built into the "Acivity Zone" app and not stand-a-lone. Again... sorry for any confusion I caused!

Well that explains it. Thanks for the update.

Can you direct me to the "quick settings" ?

swipe down to get the notifications open. notice the settings near the top? wifi, location, bluetooth etc? those are your quick settings.

You have 2 rows, swipe right to access the 2nd row. hit "edit" to access a gui that will allow you to add/remove options to the 2 rows of quick settings. There's an option for flashlight in there, place it wherever you want (and bear in mind you will likely have to bump something off the list to make room for flashlight if its not one of the defaults).

Hope that helps!
