Flip For Do Not Disturb: a problem

When I first started using Flip For Do Not Disturb, it behaved as I expected: the phone would go into Priority Only Allows mode when face down, and then when I turned it face up, Priority Only Allows mode would be terminated. Now it stays in Priority Only Allows mode after I turn it face up. Am I remembering incorrectly, and this is normal behavior?

This is working the way it was before, now. I think what solved this was going back into the Moto app and turning off this feature and then turning it back on. Now Do Not Disturb is turned off when I turn the phone back so it's facing up again.

Well, this undesired behavior is back again this morning. Last night it was charging while faced down. Resetting the phone fails to resolve this. Again, if I turn the phone face down, Do No Disturb turns on, but when turning it face up, Do Not Disturb remains turned on. I imagine sometime later today, this will change back to normal behavior, but don't know why.

And Force Stopping Moto and restarting it, fails to resolve this.

Clearing Calendar Data/Cache seems to have solved this. No problem when I woke this morning. Luckily I don't use the phone's built-in Calendar app, and rely on Calengoo for direct syncing with Google Calendar, so I didn't have to do a Google Calendar sync after that. Must have been some rogue event somewhere in the built-in Calendar app.

What made me delete Calendar Data/Cache is that the problem went away everyday at 10am or so. Couldn't find an event in there at 10am, but figured it must be something in Calendar data that's doing this. Support over at the Lenova forum pointed me to a repeating event somewhere.

My phone lately never leaves DND Mode when turning it face up. It used to do that between 10am and 10pm, which was a problem as well, but not as annoying. Now, after turning it face up, I must manually turn DND Mode off, 24 hours a day.

So I have given up on Flip For Do Dot Disturb until the Android 7 update comes out and I install it. Not a big deal. Until this phone, I always had to manually control DND Mode anyway. Love the phone otherwise.

So far, Nougat seems to have fixed this for me. I'll know more in a couple days, since I have occasionally (in the beginning) seen the problem go away for the weekend and then resurface on Monday. Today is Saturday, and I installed the update on Friday.
