all you need to do is go into Settings>Security and make sure the "Unknown Sources" option is checked. this will allow you to install apps from APKs.

once you have done that. On your One X go to this site:
[APP] Flipboard for Android - xda-developers

and download the Flipboard APK to your phone. once it's finished downloading go to the downloads application and select the APK and follow the instructions to install it. and you should be all good.

no need to be rooted for this.

Or you could eMail them at
flipboard.com/android
then you'll get the official APK with updates and be able to notify them of bugs

Flipboard is on the play store, I tried it and I'm not that impressed.

It works but I'm not that impressed with the hype, id rather use google+ individual app as it's much better, rather than integrate it into Flipboard. (same for FB and twitter, I'd rather use the individual apps)

I really like Flipboard. It has replaced my Twitter app completely. Facebook but that's only because the Facebook app is absolutely horrible.

I want to give it a go, but was thinking it was more along the lines of Pocket, not an interface for Twitter/FB. If the case, it will be a quick install/uninstall...

Any chance of someone pulling an APK for me? Google Play store says my phone isn't compatible (even though I've been successfully using a side-loaded APK for a while).
